Kurdish man in Piranshahr arrested and held in uncertain conditions

Ebrahim Rasoulianpour, a 45-year-old Kurdish resident of Gaplesen village in Piranshahr, has been arrested by security forces for nearly 20 days and remains in an indeterminate state in custody.
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Rasoulianpour is currently being held at Naqadeh Central Prison without formal charges.
A source close to his family disclosed that following his arrest by the Ministry of Intelligence in Piranshahr on Thursday, December 26, 2024, Rasoulianpour was initially transferred to the Intelligence detention center in Urmia. After spending time in solitary confinement, he was moved to Naqadeh Central Prison on January 10, 2025.
Despite 19 days having elapsed since his arrest, the legal status of his case remains unclear. No detailed information has been provided regarding the charges against him.
