Kurdish man forcibly arrested by security forces in Sanandaj

A Kurdish individual from Divandarreh, identified as Sivan Ghafouri, has been violently arrested by Islamic Republic of Iran security forces in Sanandaj (Sine) and transferred to an unknown location.
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, January 13, 2025, Security forces arrested Sivan Ghafouri, a resident of the village of "Qojar" near Divandarreh and currently residing in Sanandaj.
A source close to Sivan Ghafouri’s family reported that his arrest was carried out with severe violence, including physical assault, on a street in Sanandaj. This has raised serious concerns about his health and well-being.
