Government forces fatally shot Baloch man in Hirmand

A Baloch man named Asif Sasouli, a resident of Hirmand in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, lost his life following direct gunfire by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the "Gholam Ali Dadkhoda" station area of the city.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, January 18, 2025, 30-year-old Asif Sasouli, a resident of Sasouli village in Hirmand and a father of four, was shot and killed by government forces at the "Gholam Ali Dadkhoda" station area in Hirmand.
Informed sources stated that Sasouli was traveling in his Peugeot Pars vehicle when military forces, without issuing any prior warning, opened fire on his car, leading to his death from gunshot wounds.
Based on data recorded by the Statistics and Documentation Center of the Hengaw, at least seven Baloch individuals have been killed by direct gunfire from government forces since the beginning of 2024 (19 days).
