A Kurdish man from Marivan, identified as Ramyar Kaveh, was arrested and transferred to an undisclosed location after being summoned to the Intelligence Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the city.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, January 20, 2025, Ramyar Kaveh, a 21-year-old resident of the village of "Ney," a suburb of Marivan, was arrested after being summoned to the Intelligence Office in this city and subsequently taken to an unknown location.

A source familiar with the situation stated that the security forces arrested him without presenting an arrest warrant and informed his family in a brief phone call that he would remain in custody for the time being.
