Four Kurds arrested by Kamyaran Intelligence Department

Mamosta Mohammadmirza Rahmani, Mousa Tabai, Jabar Ebrahimi, and Hemin Ebrahimi, all residents of Kamyaran, have been arrested by Iran’s Intelligence Department and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Mohammadmirza Rahmani, a resident of Taruhriz village; Mousa Tabai, a father of two from Lunakun village, residing in Kamyaran; Jabar Ebrahimi, a father of three from Takht Zangi village, also residing in Kamyaran; and Hemin Ebrahimi, from Kuredareh village and residing in Kamyaran, were arrested without arrest warrants.
Security forces confiscated the mobile phones of Jabar Ebrahimi and his wife.
Mousa Tabai was arrested while returning home from the market near Shaho Passage in Kamyaran.
Mamosta Mohammadmirza Rahmani had previously been sentenced to 91 days of imprisonment by Branch 101 of the Criminal Court 2 in Kamyaran, a ruling that had already been officially communicated to him. He was initially arrested on December 22, 2021, after being summoned to the Kamyaran Intelligence Department, and was later released on bail after three weeks.
His previous arrest was linked to his participation in and speech at the funeral ceremony of executed Kurdish political prisoner, Heidar Ghorbani.
