Two Kurds forcibly arrested by security forces in Salmas and Bukan

Peyman Esmaeilpour, a resident of Bukan, and another Kurdish man, Afshin Alizadeh, a resident of Salmas, have been forcibly arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Their whereabouts remain unknown.
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Thursday, February 13, 2025, Peyman Esmaeilpour, 33, from the village of Hajilak in Bukan, was arrested by security forces.
Sources report that during the raid on his residence, security forces broke the windows and entered the home without a warrant.
Additionally, on Tuesday, February 11, Afshin Alizadeh, 31, from the village of Harkian, a suburb of Salmas, was arrested by security forces.
The arrest of Afshin Alizadeh was carried out with extreme violence and without an arrest warrant at his private residence.
Security forces also confiscated his personal electronic devices, including his mobile phone and computer.
As of now, there is no precise information available regarding the reasons for their arrest, the charges against them, their place of detention, or their current situation.
