Prisoner executed in Shiraz Central Prison

The death sentence of Yousef Rostami, a Lor prisoner from Khorramabad, was carried out in Shiraz Central Prison. He had been previously sentenced to death on charges of premeditated murder.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Monday, February 24, 2025, Yousef Rostami, 34, originally from Khorramabad and a resident of Torbat Heydarieh, was executed in Shiraz Central Prison.

An informed source stated that Rostami had been imprisoned for three years and four months on premeditated murder charges and was later sentenced to death by the judiciary.

As of the time of this report, state-affiliated media, particularly those linked to the judiciary, have not announced this execution.
