Sima Alipour arrested by security forces in Tabriz; Her conditions unknown

Sima Alipour, a Turkish civil activist from Tabriz, has been arrested after being summoned to the Intelligence Department of the IRGC in Tabriz. She was transferred to the agency’s detention facility, and three days later, her fate remains unknown.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, March 16, 2025, Sima Alipour was arrested after responding to a summons from the IRGC Intelligence Department in Tabriz.
Last month, she received a phone summons from the IRGC Intelligence Department but refused to comply, deeming the summons illegal. In response, security forces raided her home last week, searching the premises and reiterating their demand for her presence at the agency.
Sima Alipour has previously faced judicial persecution due to her activism.
