The death sentences of three prisoners — Ali Faza Doustiani, Sohrab Heydari, and Saeed Abbasi — were carried out in the central prisons of Karaj, Qom, and Kermanshah, respectively. All three had previously been convicted of drug-related offenses by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s judiciary.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, Ali Faza Doustiani, a Kurdish man from Kermanshah, was executed in Karaj Central Prison. He had been arrested six years ago on drug charges and later sentenced to death.

On the same day, Saeed Abbasi, a 25-year-old from Aligudarz in Lorestan Province, was executed in Dizelabad Prison in Kermanshah. He had been arrested two years ago for drug-related charges and subsequently sentenced to death.

Simultaneously, Sohrab Heydari, from Shahr-e Rey in Tehran Province, was executed in Qom Central Prison, also on drug-related charges.

As of the time of this report, the state media — particularly outlets affiliated with the judiciary — have not publicly announced these executions.
