Two Kurdish men, Mohammad Khezri and Zahir Mahmoudian, arrested by security forces in Oshnavieh

Two Kurdish men from Oshnavieh (Shno), identified as Mohammad Khezri and Zahir Mahmoudian, have been arrested by security forces.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Saturday, April 20, 2025, security forces raided the village of Shahwaneh, a district of Oshnavieh, and detained the two men without presenting arrest warrants.

Sources familiar with the case stated that during the raid, security agents also confiscated the mobile phones and other communication devices belonging to the detainees.

As of the time of this report’s publication, there is no confirmed information regarding the detainees’ whereabouts, or their current condition.
