Saeed Derikvand executed in Khorramabad Central Prison

The death sentence of Saeed Derikvand, a Lor prisoner from Khorramabad, was carried out at Khorramabad Central Prison (Parsilon Prison). He had previously been convicted of premeditated murder.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Monday, April 21, 2025, the death sentence of 33-year-old Saeed Derikvand—originally from the village of Mian Gelal in the Khorramabad—was carried out at the city’s central prison.

Sources familiar with the case stated that Derikvand, who was the father of two children, had been arrested two years ago on charges of “premeditated murder” and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

To date, the news of his execution has not been published in state media, particularly outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
