Kurdish man from Rabat arrested by security forces, his whereabouts unknown

Fereydoun Toubehkar, a Kurdish resident of the Rabat district in Sardasht County, has been arrested by agents of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Toubehkar was detained on Friday, May 9, 2025. Since his detention, no contact has been made with his family, and no official information has been released regarding his whereabouts or condition.

A source close to the family stated that Toubehkar, the owner of a local printing house in Rabat, was arrested by intelligence agents affiliated with the Ministry of Intelligence in Urmia.
The reasons for his arrest, the nature of any charges brought against him, and his current place of detention remain unclear.
