Kurdish Man arrested in Sanandaj, whereabouts unknown

Armin Khodamoradi, a 26-year-old Kurdish man from Sanandaj, has been arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Khodamoradi was detained on Friday, May 16, 2025, during a raid on his home in Sanandaj by security agents.

A source close to the family reported that three days after the arrest, there is still no confirmed information about his location or condition.

As of now, authorities have not disclosed the reasons for his arrest or any charges filed against him.
