Kourosh Nadimi arrested in Kermanshah; Whereabouts remain unknown

Kourosh Nadimi, a Kurdish father from Kamyaran, was arrested by security forces in the city of Kermanshah (Kermashan). Three days after his detention, his fate and whereabouts remain unknown.

 According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Nadimi, 40, a resident of Misurab village in Kamyaran and father of two, was detained on Sunday, May 18, 2025, by security forces in Kermanshah. He was taken to an unknown location, and no information has since been made available regarding his condition.

 Sources familiar with the case reported that Nadimi was arrested without the presentation of an arrest warrant.

Authorities have yet to disclose the reasons for his arrest, any charges filed against him, or his current place of detention.
