Farhad Kadkhodaqadri, a Kurdish resident of Mahabad, was arrested earlier this week by agents of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Organization. His current location and condition remain unknown.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, despite the passage of four days since Kadkhodaqadri's arrest, his family has been unable to obtain any information regarding his fate or place of detention. All attempts to follow up with authorities have so far been unsuccessful.
A source close to the family reported that on Saturday, June 1, 2025, IRGC intelligence forces raided his home village of Sarchenar. The arrest was carried out without the presentation of an arrest warrant and involved the use of violence.
