Elham Siyyadat and her son, Arman Bahrami, Baha’i residents of Isfahan, were briefly detained and interrogated by Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence following a raid on their home. The two were also subjected to threats and warnings intended to silence them.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Siyyadat and Bahrami were held for several hours at the Intelligence Office in Isfahan after being summoned by authorities.
A reliable source reported that the initial raid on the family’s home took place on Wednesday, May 28. Intelligence agents conducted a comprehensive search, issuing written summonses to both of them during the operation.
The source added that during the raid, agents confiscated personal belongings including cash, jewelry, internet equipment, and official documents. The agents also damaged furniture and household items and warned the family against publicizing the incident, threatening further legal action if they spoke out.
It is worth noting that Arman Bahrami has previously been summoned for questioning on multiple occasions and was dismissed from his job in March 2025 due to his adherence to the Baha’i faith.
