Kurdish man Amin Sadoei forcibly arrested by Intelligence Forces in Khoy

Amin Sadoei, a 43-year-old Kurdish resident of Tarimish village, located in the Qotur (Khotol) district of Khoy County, was forcibly arrested by agents of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the arrest was carried out without an arrest warrant on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
Eyewitnesses reported that, Sadoei was beaten severely in public by the agents, causing panic and alarm among bystanders at the scene.
Despite repeated attempts by his family to obtain information, Iranian security institutions have refused to disclose his whereabouts or current physical condition.
No formal charges have been announced against Amin Sadoei, and his legal status remain unknown.
