Ismail Hajivand executed in Malayer Central Prison

The death sentence of Ismail Hajivand, a 44-year-old Lor prisoner from Malayer, was carried out at Malayer Central Prison in Hamadan Province. He had been convicted of homicide.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Hajivand was executed at dawn on Monday, July 28, 2025.

Hajivand had been imprisoned for nine years following his arrest on charges of premeditated murder.
The state media, including judiciary-affiliated outlets, have not announced the execution.
