No information on Milad Kariminasab and Mehdi Karami weeks after arrest by intelligence forces

Two Lors, Milad Kariminasab from Charam and Mehdi Karami from Suq, both cities in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, have been arrested by agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and taken to unknown locations.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mehdi Karami was detained on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, by intelligence forces in the city of Suq. Sixteen days after his arrest, there is still no information regarding his whereabouts or condition.
Similarly, Milad Kariminasab was arrested on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in the city of Charam by intelligence agents. Twenty-three days have passed since his detention, and his fate remains unknown.
Informed sources report that the arrests were carried out without arrest warrants. The continued lack of information and the failure of the families’ efforts to obtain answers have caused serious concern among their relatives.
No details have been released regarding the reasons for the arrests, or the charges brought against them.
