Ramin Gorgani re-arrested by Intelligence Department in Kamyaran

Ramin Gorgani, a Kurdish man from Kamyaran, has been re-arrested by forces of the Intelligence Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He had previously been detained for his activities.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Gorgani was arrested on a street in Kamyaran on Sunday, August 10, 2025 and subsequently transferred to the Intelligence Department’s detention center in Sanandaj (Sna).
Following the arrest, intelligence forces raided his family home. Informed sources reported that the officers conducted a thorough search and confiscated several of his personal belongings.
As of this report’s publication, no information has been released regarding the reasons for his detention or the charges against him.
Gorgani was previously arrested by security forces in Kamyaran on March 5, 2024, and later released on bail pending trial. He was subsequently sentenced by the Kamyaran Revolutionary Court to six months in prison on charges of “propaganda against the government,” a sentence that was later commuted to a fine.
