Two prisoners, including a Lor man, executed in Hamedan and Khorramabad prisons

The death sentences of two prisoners, Davood Kashani and Ali Omidi Moghaddam, who had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of "premeditated murder", were carried out in the prisons of Hamedan and Khorramabad.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Monday, August 18, 2025, the execution of Davood Kashani was carried out in Hamedan Central Prison. He had been arrested on charges of premeditated murder and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

On the same day, the execution of a Lor prisoner, Ali Omidi Moghaddam from Veysian in Lorestan Province, was carried out in Khorramabad Central Prison. He too had been arrested on charges of premeditated murder and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

The executions of these two prisoners have not been announced by state media, particularly outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
