Bijan Soleimani and Saeed Parsaei executed in Nahavand and Jiroft prisons

Iranian authorities have carried out the executions of two prisoners, Bijan Soleimani and Saeed Parsaei, in Nahavand and Jiroft prisons after convictions on charges of “premeditated murder” and “drug-related offenses.”

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Parsaei, 40, from Shiraz, was executed at dawn on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Jiroft Central Prison, Kerman Province. He had been arrested four years earlier on drug-related charges and was later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Separately, at dawn on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, authorities executed Soleimani, a Lor prisoner from Nahavand in Hamadan Province, in Nahavand Central Prison. He had been convicted of premeditated murder and sentenced to death.

These executions have not been reported by state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
