Five IRGC members killed and injured in Kurdistan

Two members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), identified as Alireza Valizadeh and Ayoub Shiri, were killed and at least three others injured in an armed attack by unidentified groups on an IRGC base in Sarvabad (Sewlawa), Kurdistan Province.
According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the attack took place on the evening of Monday, October 6, 2025. The injured personnel were taken to nearby medical facilities, and their conditions remain unknown.
IRGC-affiliated media outlets reported that the incident involved "the use of a grenade targeting the Hezbollah Resistance Base” in Sarvabad (Sewlawa).
No Kurdish party or organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
