Kurdish man Kamran Soltani arbitrarily arrested by Iranian security forces in Bukan

Kamran Soltani, a 45-year-old Kurdish man from Bukan, was arbitrarily arrested by Iranian security forces in an operation marked by intimidation and excessive force. He has since been taken to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 7, 2025, more than twenty armed agents, arriving in several vehicles with Urmia license plates, raided his workplace and arrested him.
During the raid, security forces also confiscated surveillance cameras and memory cards from the premises before transferring Soltani to an unknown location.
Since his arrest, no information has been provided regarding the reasons for his detention, his whereabouts, or his condition.
