Political activist Kosar Dehbanzadeh arrested after summons to Shiraz Revolutionary Court

Kosar Dehbanzadeh, a political activist and sister of political prisoner Meysam Dehbanzadeh, who is currently held in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj, has been arrested after being summoned to the Shiraz Revolutionary Court and transferred to Adelabad Prison.
According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Dehbanzadeh was detained on Saturday, October 11, 2025, after appearing before the Shiraz Revolutionary Court in response to a formal summons. She was subsequently transferred to Adelabad Prison.
Authorities set bail at 10 billion tomans for her temporary release. As she was unable to provide the required bail, she was taken into custody. Dehbanzadeh had been summoned to the Shiraz Revolutionary Court on October 8, 2025, following the issuance of an official notice.
She had previously been arrested on September 27, 2024, by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence in Shiraz without an arrest warrant and held in solitary confinement at the Ministry’s detention facility known as “Ward 100.”
No official information has yet been released regarding the reasons for her arrest, the charges brought against her, or her current condition.
