Three prisoners executed in Ilam, Behbahan, and Qazvin Prisons

The death sentences of three prisoners — including two Kurdish inmates — have been carried out in the prisons of Ilam, Behbahan, and Qazvin.
The prisoners, Mohammadreza Hosseini, Fardin Khani, and Farshid Jamiari, had previously been convicted on charges of premeditated murder or drug-related offenses.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution of Mohammadreza Hosseini, a Kurdish prisoner, was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Ilam Central Prison.
Sources informed Hengaw that he had been arrested earlier on premeditated murder charges and later sentenced to death by the judiciary.

On the same day, the death sentence of Fardin Khani, a Lor prisoner convicted of murder, was carried out in Behbahan Prison in Khuzestan Province.

Separately, Farshid Jamiari, a Kurdish prisoner from Kermanshah, was executed in Qazvin Central Prison at dawn on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. He had been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death.

None of these executions have been announced by Iranian state media or judiciary-affiliated outlets.
