Hemin Khorshidi detained by Iranian security forces in Baneh

Iranian security forces have detained Hemin Khorshidi, a 29-year-old Kurdish man from Baneh, and transferred him to an undisclosed location.

Based on information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Khorshidi was detained on Monday, November 17, 2025, in Baneh. He is single and worked in the city.

According to a source close to Khorshidi’s family, the arrest took place at the traditional café where he worked in Baneh.

Khorshidi was taken to an unknown location after his arrest, and no reliable information is available about the reasons for his detention or the charges he may be facing.
