Sobhan Jafari and Mohammadkarim Moradi executed in Khorramabad and Kermanshah prisons

Iranian authorities have executed two prisoners, Sobhan Jafari and Mohammadkarim Moradi, who had previously been sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder” and “drug-related offences” by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Jafari, a Lor prisoner, was executed at dawn on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in Khorramabad Central Prison. He had earlier been arrested on “drug-related offences” and sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Moradi, a Kurdish prisoner from Kermanshah (Kermashan), was executed in Kermanshah Central Prison (Dizelabad Prison). According to informed sources, he had been arrested four years ago on the charge of “premeditated murder” and sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
State media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary, had not announced the executions at the time of publication.
