Mazandaran blogger Soheila Beykdelu arrested, Instagram account seized

Iran’s security forces have arrested Soheila Beykdelu, a well-known blogger from Nur County in Mazandaran Province, and transferred her to Amol Prison. Her social-media accounts, where she appeared without compulsory hijab and dressed according to her own choice, have been taken over by security agencies.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Soheila Beykdelu, a popular blogger and social-media figure from Nur, was arrested by security forces on Sunday, November 30, 2025 and transferred to Amol Central Prison.

Sources familiar with the case told Hengaw that Beykdelu was active on social media without compulsory hijab and that her page mostly featured humorous content.

Following her arrest, her social-media accounts were placed under the control of security agencies. Her Instagram page, which had 310,000 followers, has been blocked and now displays the emblem of FATA Police.

No verified information is available regarding the reasons for her arrest, the charges against her, or her current condition.
