Brother murders 18-year-old sister in femicide case

An 18-year-old Baloch woman, Sosan Chaharshanbehpour, was murdered by her brother in Qaleh Ganj, Kerman Province. According to initial reports, the motive for the killing was her brother’s “disagreement with his sister’s marriage.”

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Chaharshanbehpour, a resident of Ramshak village in Qaleh Ganj County, was shot and killed by her brother with a firearm on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

The incident reportedly occurred after a family dispute over her marriage plans.

The perpetrator fled the scene after the murder and remains at large.
