Eight prisoners executed in multiple Iranian prisons, including two Lors

Iranian authorities executed eight prisoners in recent days in Dorud, Isfahan, Bam, Kashan, Qom, and Gorgan prisons. Among those executed were two Lors. The prisoners were identified as Abbas Souri, Saeed Shateri, Nima Omidi Khas, Morad Beig Torki, Morad Ali Ganji, Ali Ataei, Naser Molaveli, and Kiumars Gholami. All had been sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran on charges of “premeditated murder” and “drug-related offences.”
Based on information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Abbas Souri, a Lor man from Lorestan Province, was executed in Dorud Prison in the early hours of November 10, 2025. Souri had been arrested several years earlier on murder charges and sentenced to death.
Saeed Shateri was executed the same day in Dastgerd Prison, Isfahan. He had been sentenced to death on drug-related charges and had spent several years in prison before the sentence was implemented.
Nima Omidi Khas was executed on drug-related charges in Bam Prison, Kerman Province, on November 9, 2025. On the same day, Morad Beig Torki was executed in Kashan Prison, Isfahan Province, after being convicted on murder charges.
Morad Ali Ganji (33), Ali Ataei (37), a Lor man from Khorramabad and father of one child, and Naser Molaveli (28) from Chahardangeh, Eslamshahr County, were executed in Qom Central Prison. According to Hengaw’s sources, Ganji had been arrested about four years ago on murder charges, while Ataei and Molaveli had been detained on drug-related charges two and three years ago respectively before receiving death sentences.
Kiumars Gholami was executed in Gorgan Central Prison on November 5, 2025. According to the Hyrcanian human-rights network, Gholami had been arrested on murder charges and sentenced to death by the judiciary.
The executions of these prisoners have not been announced by Iranian state media or outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
