Reza Moradi held incommunicado after arrest in Kamyaran

Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence arrested Reza Moradi, a Kurdish resident of Kamyaran, and transferred him to an undisclosed location.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Moradi, 50, was arrested on Friday, November 28, 2025, in Khamsan village, a district of Kamyaran.

Moradi has remained in detention since his arrest, and no verified information is available regarding the reasons for his detention, the charges brought against him, or his current location. His family’s efforts to obtain information about his situation have so far been unsuccessful.
