Iranian forces arrest four young men in Behbahan amid ongoing protests

Iranian government forces have arrested four young men from Behbahan, Khuzestan province, in connection with the ongoing protests and strikes, citing allegations of “publishing calls for a protest gathering.”

Information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights indicates that Sultan Emamkhah, Amir Mehdi Razm, Abolfazl Jafsh, and Abolfazl Ashnoud were arrested in Behbahan on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

According to the information, Sultan Emamkhah was released shortly after his arrest, while the fate and whereabouts of the other three men remain unknown.

The arrests reportedly followed the publication of a call for a protest gathering in Behbahan.
