Hengaw – Wednesday, June 10, 2026

Seyyed Ahmad Seyyed Abdollahi, a Lor man from Borujen in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, has been re-arrested by Iranian authorities. No information has since been made available regarding his whereabouts or condition.

According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Seyyed Abdollahi, a counselor and psychologist from Borujen, was arrested at his family home approximately 10 days ago.

Sources told Hengaw that security forces confiscated the mobile phones of Seyyed Abdollahi and several members of his family during the arrest. He has been permitted only one brief phone call, during which he was unable to provide any details about his situation.

His re-arrest comes after he was summoned to court on May 25, 2026, through an official notice citing the charge of “propaganda against the state.”

In a separate case, Seyyed Abdollahi was sentenced in March 2026 to seven months in prison after accepting a conviction under Iran’s “espionage and collaboration with Israel and hostile states” legislation.

He was previously arrested by the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in January 2026 and was held for approximately 40 days before being released on temporary bail of 180 billion rials (18 billion tomans) pending the completion of judicial proceedings.
