Iranian intelligence arrests Shahram Najari and Shwana Ebrahimi in Oshnavieh and Urmia

Iran’s Intelligence Department has arrested two Kurdish men from Urmia and Oshnavieh (Shno) — identified as Shahram Najari and Shwana Ebrahimi — and transferred them to unknown locations.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Shwana Ebrahimi, a resident of Alkawê village in Oshnavieh, was violently arrested at his home on the evening of Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
Sources reported that a large number of intelligence agents stormed the house, breaking doors and windows before detaining him.
Separately, Shahram Najari, 28, married and a resident of Dalow village in the central district of Urmia, was arrested in the city by Intelligence Department forces on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
The reasons for the arrests, the charges against the two men, and the locations of their detention remain unknown. Families’ efforts to obtain information have so far been unsuccessful.
