Five prisoners executed in Hamedan, Dezful, Borujerd, Qazvin, and Karaj Prisons

Iran has executed five prisoners in facilities across Hamedan, Dezful, Borujerd, Qazvin, and Karaj. The individuals — Shahram Torkashvand, Mansour Akhlaqi, Davoud Dolatshahi, Farid Zare’i, and Mostafa Farhadi — had been convicted on charges of premeditated murder or drug-related offenses.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution of Shahram Torkashvand, a Kurdish prisoner convicted on drug-related charges, was carried out at dawn on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Hamedan Central Prison.
On the same day, three additional prisoners —Mansour Akhlaqi, a Lor man convicted of murder; Davoud Dolatshahi, also a Lor man convicted of murder; and Farid Zare’i, convicted of murder — were executed in the prisons of Dezful (Khuzestan Province), Borujerd (Lorestan Province), and Karaj Central Prison, respectively.
Separately, Mostafa Farhadi, a 42-year-old Tati prisoner from Takestan in Qazvin Province, was executed at dawn on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Ahar Prison. He had been arrested about three years earlier following a group altercation and was subsequently convicted of premeditated murder.
None of these executions have been reported by Iranian state media or outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
