Omid Badi and Keyvan Rasouli Azar arrested in Bukan and Oshnavieh

Iranian authorities arrested Omid Badi, a Kurdish man from Bukan, and Keyvan Rasouli Azar from Oshnavieh (Shno) over the past week.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Badi, a 37-year-old resident of Majburabad in Bukan and the father of a young daughter, was arrested on Thursday, 4 December 2025. He works as a videographer and drone technician.

A source informed Hengaw that Iranian intelligence forces raided Badi’s shop in Aliabad, Bukan, arresting him and confiscating all client drones and equipment. He was later transferred to a detention facility in Urmia.

Rasouli Azar, a 42-year-old father and resident of Oshnavieh, was arrested earlier in the week and transferred to an undisclosed location.

No information is available regarding the reasons for the arrests or the charges against these two individuals.
