Two more residents arrested in Bukan as detentions in Kurdistan reach 20 in one week

Iranian intelligence forces have arrested two more Kurdish residents of Bukan, Kaveh Kole and his nephew, Qader Kole, and transferred them to an undisclosed location as the recent wave of detentions continues.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Qader and Kaveh Kole, both from the village of Kanî Rash in the Bukan district, were arrested at around 7 am on Monday, December 8, 2025.
Their arrests were carried out in their homes without any warrant.
No information is available about the reasons for their arrests, their place of detention or their current condition.
Based on figures recorded by the Statistics and Documentation Center of Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at least 20 Kurdish residents have been arrested during the first week of December 2025 in Oshnavieh (Shno), Mahabad, Bukan, Mariwan and Divandarreh by government forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
