Two Arab men transferred to prison in Ahvaz after 15 days in solitary confinement

Iranian authorities have transferred two Arab men, Arya Qolizadeh and Abolfazl Hosseinzadeh, to Ward 5 of Sheiban Prison in Ahvaz after holding them in solitary confinement for 15 days.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Qolizadeh, 25, and Hosseinzadeh, 27 — both residents of Gotvand in Ahvaz — were moved to Sheiban Prison on Monday, December 1, 2025.
The two men were arrested in November 2025 by agents of the IRGC Intelligence Organization.
They were held in solitary confinement under an order issued by the Dezful Revolutionary Court and are facing charges of “insulting Ali Khamenei” and “activities on social media.” After a temporary detention order was issued, both men were transferred from the intelligence detention facility to Sheiban Prison.
