Four prisoners executed in Chabahar, Quchan, Gonabad, and Esfarayen

Iran has carried out the executions of four prisoners—including two Kurdish men and one Afghan national—in prisons in Chabahar, Quchan, Gonabad, and Esfarayen. The prisoners had previously been sentenced to death on charges of premeditated murder or drug-related offenses.
According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, an Afghan national, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, was executed at Chabahar Prison in Sistan and Baluchestan Province at dawn on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. He had been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
Separately, Majid Nazaran, a Turkish man from Quchan in Razavi Khorasan Province, was executed at dawn on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in Quchan Prison. He had been convicted of intentional murder.
In addition, the executions of Sattar Zahedifar and Esfandiar Razzaqi, both Kurdish men from Esfarayen in North Khorasan Province, were carried out at dawn on Monday, December 8, 2025, in Gonabad Prison and Esfarayen Prison, respectively.
Zahedifar had been sentenced to death on drug-related charges, while Razzaqi had been convicted of premeditated murder.
None of the executions have been announced by Iranian state media or outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
