Baha’i adherent Azadeh Yaghini arbitrarily detained for 18 days

Azadeh Yaghini, a Baha’i adherent from Gonbad-e Kavus in Golestan Province, has been arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and has remained in detention for 18 days without clarity about her situation.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Yaghini continues to be held in a state of uncertainty 18 days after her arrest in Gonbad-e Kavus.
Yaghini has been denied basic rights, and her place of detention and the charges brought against her remain unknown.
The Baha’i adherent was arrested on Saturday, November 15, 2025, by security forces, and several of her personal belongings, including her laptop and mobile phone, were confiscated.
Yaghini has previously been summoned and interrogated by security agencies in past years due to her activities.
