Three men, including a Lor prisoner, executed in separate prisons across Iran

Iranian authorities have executed three prisoners, including a Lor man, identified as Habib Rasoulzadeh, Sajjad Ahmadi, and Navid Shabanian. They had previously been sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder” by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The executions were carried out in the prisons of Semnan, Malayer, and Kashmar.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Habib Rasoulzadeh, 42, a father of two from Semnan, was executed at dawn on Sunday, February 22, 2026, in Semnan Central Prison. He had been arrested approximately four years earlier following a physical altercation and was later sentenced to death on charges of premeditated murder.

Sajjad Ahmadi, a Lor man from the village of Ki Kian in Malayer and a father of one child, was executed at dawn on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in Malayer Central Prison. He had been arrested around five years ago on charges of killing his wife and was subsequently sentenced to death.

Navid Shabanian, 19, from Kashmar, was executed at dawn on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in Kashmar Prison. He had been arrested 16 months ago, at the age of 18 years and two months, on charges of premeditated murder and was later sentenced to death.

State media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary, have not reported these executions.
