Kurdish man Osman Bayzidi arrested in Piranshahr

Osman Bayzidi, a Kurdish man from Piranshahr, was arrested by agents of the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the city.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Bayzidi — a resident of Bandareh village in Piranshahr County — was arrested in the early hours of March 6, 2026. Sources report that IRGC intelligence agents used violence during the arrest before transferring him to an unknown location.
