Intelligence forces violently arrest Sabah Bevara in Piranshahr

Sabah Bevara, a 23-year-old Kurdish man from Piranshahr, was violently arrested by Iranian intelligence forces and transferred to an undisclosed location amid the continuing wave of arrests targeting Kurds across Iran.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, intelligence forces raided Bevara’s family home in the village of Kelekin, a rural district of Piranshahr, on the evening of Thursday, May 14, 2026. The agents arrested him without presenting a warrant and subjected him to severe violence during the operation.
Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for his arrest, his whereabouts, or any charges against him.
