IRGC forces fatally shoot Baloch youth Farzad Mollazehi in Saravan

IRGC forces fatally shot a Baloch youth, Farzad Mollazehi, in Saravan and prevented residents from taking him to hospital for emergency treatment.

Information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights shows that IRGC forces opened fire without warning on the evening of Wednesday, June 17, 2026, near Iranmehr Hospital in Saravan. Mollazehi was passing through the area when he was shot in the head and critically wounded.

According to the Balochistan Human Rights Campaign, security forces did not attempt to assist Mollazehi despite the shooting taking place just steps from Iranmehr Hospital. Instead, armed personnel prevented residents and passersby from approaching him or transferring him to the hospital.

Mollazehi later succumbed to his injuries.
