Kurdish man Abdullah Pashabadi detained in Kermanshah, whereabouts unknown

Abdullah Pashabadi, a 56-year-old Kurdish man from the village of Pashabad in Kamyaran County, was arrested by Iranian security forces in Kermanshah (Kermashan) and taken to an undisclosed location.

According to information obtained by Hengaw, agents of the Ministry of Intelligence raided Pashabadi’s home in Kermanshah at around 2 a.m. on July 26, 2026, and arrested him without presenting a warrant.

Sources familiar with the case said repeated inquiries by his family have so far yielded no information about his condition or whereabouts.

The reasons for his arrest, any charges against him, and his place of detention remain unknown.
