IRGC Intelligence arrests three Kurdish activists in Ravansar

Khalil Parandak, Shahab Soleimani, and Idris Golmohammadi, three Kurdish activists from Ravansar in Kermanshah (Kermashan) Province, have been arrested by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Organization and transferred to an undisclosed location amid the escalating crackdown on civil society activists and families seeking justice in Kurdistan.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, IRGC Intelligence forces simultaneously arrested the three activists in Ravansar on Friday, July 17, 2026, without presenting a warrant.
Khalil Parandak is a civil and environmental activist and a member of Kurdistan's families seeking justice. He has previously been arrested by Iranian authorities. Shahab Soleimani is an attorney and civil rights activist, while Idris Golmohammadi is an environmental and civil activist.
Two days after their arrests, repeated inquiries by their families to security and judicial authorities in Ravansar have yielded no information. The authorities have not disclosed the reasons for their arrests, any charges against them, or their whereabouts, heightening concerns over their fate and well-being.
