25 Kurdish citizens have been arrested in April

Hengaw: 25 Kurdish citizens have been arrested by the Iranian security forces during the last month.

 According to statistics registered at the Statistics Centre of Hengaw, 12 citizens from Mariwan, 5 citizens from Paweh, 3 citizens from Bokan, 2 citizens from Mehabad, 2 citizens from Sawlawa (Salawatabad) and a citizen from Aiwane Gharb have been arrested by the Iranian security forces.

Most of them have been accused of “cooperation with the Kurdish political parties” and “participation in Mariwan demonstrations” and a few of them have been accused of “activity on social networks”.

 One of the arrested citizens has been accused of “insulting to 8th Imam of Shias”.
