Approving a ten-year imprisonment for a Kurdish political prisoner

 Hengaw: The 10 years imprisonment sentence of a Kurdish political prisoner was approved in an appeal court. The Appeal Court of the Sna (Sanandaj) Province approved the sentence of a Kurdish activist Hossein Daneshmand kept in Sna Prison. Hossein had been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment in charge of “Espionage and acting against the national security”. Hossein Daneshmand, 41, is from Baneh, a city of the Kurdistan Province. He was arrested by the Iranian security forces in Mariwan and transferred to Sna Prison in September of 2016.
