Killing and wounding 122 Kolbars In the first half of 2017

Hengaw: In the first half of 2017, 122 Kolbars and traders have been killed or wounded.
According to statistics registered at Hengaw Statistic Center, 39 Kurdish Kolbars and border traders have been killed and 83 others have been wounded during the past six months.
17 Kolbars and border traders have been shot dead by Iranian security forces, 9 Kolbars lost their lives due to avalanche, 8 Kolbars died due to falling from mountains, 3 Kolbars got frostbite and 2 Kolbars lost their lives in car accidents.
25 of the killed Kolbars were from Urmia Province, 13 of them were from Kurdistan Province and one of them was from Kirmashan Province.
During this period, 83 Kurdish Kolbars and border traders were wounded; 41 of them have been shot and wounded by Iranian security forces; 25 of them have been injured in car accidents; 6 of them have been wounded due to avalanche; 5 of them got frostbite; 3 of them have fallen in the mountains; one of them was injured with stone thrown by Iranian soldiers; another one was injured under the pressure of the load he had carried and the last one was wounded in a landmine explosion.
42 of the injured Kolbars are from Urmia Province; 32 of them are from Kurdistan Province; 7 of them are from Kirmashan Province and one of them is from the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq.
According to statistics registered at Hengaw Statistic Center, in 2016, 49 Kurdish Kolbars and border traders were killed and 47 others were wounded.
